The agreement between you and Genius Inn when you use the store, create an account or place an order.
About these terms
These terms apply to geniusinn.in and its apps, operated by Genius Inn (registered business name to be confirmed). By using the store you agree to them. They are governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate information.
- Keep your password private and turn on two-step verification. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse or to break the law, and will tell you why where the law allows.
Products, prices and orders
- Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST. The total, including any delivery or cash-on-delivery fee, is shown before you pay.
- Product details, country of origin and manufacturer information are shown on every product page.
- An order is confirmed when you receive a confirmation. We may cancel an order (and refund it in full) if an item is unavailable or was priced in clear error.
- Delivery is free on orders of ₹499 or more; otherwise a ₹40 delivery fee applies.
Payment
Online payments are processed by Razorpay. Cash on delivery is available for orders between ₹500 and ₹15,000 to serviceable PIN codes, with a ₹49 fee.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
You can cancel any order before it ships. Returns and replacements follow our Returns policy. Refunds go back to the original payment method, or for cash-on-delivery orders to the UPI ID or bank account you give us.
Reviews and content you post
Reviews, photos and questions must be honest, your own, and free of personal details, links and offensive content. We check them before they appear and may decline or remove content that breaks these rules. You give us a licence to display what you post on Genius Inn.
Warranties and liability
Products carry the manufacturer’s warranty shown on the product page. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Indian law.
Complaints and disputes
Contact customer care first; our Grievance Officer (Grievance Officer (name and contact to be confirmed before launch)) acknowledges complaints within 48 hours and resolves them within one month. Courts in Bengaluru have jurisdiction, subject to your rights to approach consumer commissions.
